VBT: Load-Velocity Personalized Profiling

This is a more advanced feature but extreme useful too.
But first check the main VBT feature request: https://vitruvian.featurebase.app/p/smart-goal-based-velocity-based-training

VBT uses Velocity (e.g. 0.4 m/s) instead of percentage of 1RM (e.g. 85% of 1RM), both in the context of an unique athlete for a specific exercise, generalization is inefficient.

Initial Profile Setup
During even the current Strength Assessment protocol of Vitruvian, you can use that data to initially map Load (kg) → Velocity (m/s).

Over time with every rep and different (fixed per rep) weights, the Load-Velocity Profile is being updated.

As the user trains and progresses, the data show that they did the higher weight for the same speed. Doing 2-3 different weights, can allow doing a linear regression and estimate the 1RM of the user without maxing (especially useful for older crowds)

Daily automatic weight based on Athlete Readiness (Auto-regulating Intensity)
Using the data of the Load-Velocity Profile, we can track both the progress of the user, calculate 1RM and the most interesting to auto-regulate the working set weight, here’s how.

The user goes through their warmup set(s) for the exercise. We use those data to compare them to Load-Velocity Profile. If the Velocity of the warmup sets was slower than the expected based the Profile, then the athlete’s readiness is not 100% and the weight can be adapted based on the all that data and the Training Zone (based on Goal of the session (Hypertrophy, Strength etc.)).

There are a ton of things that can be done as more data are gather, also possible that you can use the current data (probably excluding the Just Lift ones, since every exercise has its own profile).

I’ll stop here, but there are many more high potential features.
