In the current way it’s working (at least for Traditional Mode), short Range-of-Motion moves like Shrugs and Calf Raises when having high target weights, need several reps to steadily increase and reach the target load, resulting in completed sets but not at the target load the user intents.
Potential solutions:
i) Add an option to apply the full 100% target load from the 1st rep.
ii) Either a user or system option for specific exercises to add a load-up phase between calibration and 1st rep.
For example, in both shrug and calf raise, the load-up phase would begin when the user is at rest in standing position, gradually raise the load while the user remains in the same position. When full weight is reached the user is prompted to begin the reps.
